Remote Work Linked to Increased Cybersecurity Risks

What the Numbers Say

As of 2021, over 80% of cybersecurity and business leaders surveyed said that remote work has left their companies more exposed and at risk of hackers. The three most significant risk factors for any business transitioning from working on-site to remote work were a lack of visibility into remote employee home networks, expanding the software supply chain, and migrating to the cloud.

And Now, A Word from the Experts

Tenable’s survey of cybersecurity experts and business leaders found that 2/3 of all cybersecurity leaders are said to be beefing up their networks in the next two years. At the same time, another 75% aim to maintain their cloud security as a top priority.
